Michael Moss' Autobiography Part 1: Birth and Early Childhood

Updated: Feb 4

I was diagnosed with autism when I was 2-3 years old. I had all of the classic traits of autism, including delayed speech, rocking excessively in a rocking chair, and lining up objects obsessively. I learned to speak when I was 4.5 years old, and I started pre-kindergarten when I was 3 years old. Interestingly, I learned to read before I learned to speak. This is a photo of me, smiling at the camera.
